The Neighborhood Recreation Center sponsors year round activities for all ages, classes and events including Movies in the Park, Taste & Tunes, concerts and a 10K run. Children attend schools in the highly acclaimed Clark County School District. Two communities colleges and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas are minutes away. North Las Vegas is only 15 minutes from the hotels and casinos of the Las Vegas Strip and 25 minutes from McCarran International Airport, 5 minutes from North Las Vegas Airport - 10 minutes from downtown Las Vegas. Experts have predicted a 200% increase in the value of North Las Vegas real estate between January 1, 2000 and December 31, 2008.
